PMFBY is an Indian government scheme launched in 2016 for one nation, one crop and one premium. This scheme is planned for all Indians involved in farming. The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana financially support Indian farmers in the possibility of unsuccessful crops due to natural calamities. 

Farmers can easily apply for this scheme with some simple steps and submitting the required documents, which include the Aadhar card, bank account number, agreement photocopy, khasra number of the land, voter ID card, ration card, and the farmer’s passport-size photograph.
